Our Policies

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, it will affect the length of your treatment. Payment in full will still be expected for the services rendered. As an example, if you are less than 15 minutes late, the same amount of time will be taken out of your service time as to not effect the service schedule of the day. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged a $50 fee at your next appointment.

I suggest arriving 15 minutes early to your appointment time. This will allow you time to park, find the office and do anything necessary for check-in (paper-work, bathroom break, etc.). This will help you avoid any changes in your service due to late arrival.

Payment Methods

I am working towards accepting other payment methods, but at this time I accept the following:

Cash

Checks payable to Body in Mind LLC

Zelle Payments to bodyinmindaz@gmail.com

Liability Waivers

Before starting any treatments, every client will be required to complete intake documentation and waivers. This serves to create a mutual understanding of expectations. It will delineate my role as your massage therapist/myopractor and your responsibilities as a client. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. If you would like a copy of the policies and liability agreements for your records, I would be more than happy to send you a copy upon request.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

I understand that unexpected events can arise in life. If you need to make changes to your appointment, kindly notify us at least 24 hours in advance. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment, a $25 cancellation fee will be applied at your next scheduled visit.

This policy is in place to accommodate as many clients as possible and to maintain a consistent and reliable service. Your prompt adjustments to appointments not only allows others to benefit from our services sooner but also contributes to the overall efficiency and sustainability of Body in Mind LLC. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide quality care to all our clients.

Office Noise Level

My office is a shared space. Please be respectful of the other therapists and clients by maintaining a calm and quiet volume level. Please ensure that your children are able to do the same if they are accompanying you for a myopractic treatment. If at any point the noise level is too high (at my own discretion) I will ask you to leave the building.

 FAQs

  • The address of my office is: 2034 S Alma School Rd, Ste 104, Mesa, Z 85210. It is on the South West side of Alma School and Baseline.

The office complex has a courtyard. There is a set of doors on the west and east side of the building. My office is located in Ste 104 (sometimes labeled 4). It is a shared space so you may also see signage from the other therapists that work in this space. If you come into the office I will meet you in the lobby as quickly as I am able.

  • Myopractic Treatment: Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. We will be doing a variety of stretches and movements to feel the muscle development of the body. If your clothing restricts your movement in any way the treatment will be less effective.

Massage Treatments: During massage treatments I use oil and massage directly on your skin. You will be modestly covered by the draping of the sheets on the table. The clothing you wear is less important because of this. However, it is important that you know that any excess oil on your skin may get on your clothes when you change after your treatment. Please keep this in mind when choosing your attire.

  • We kindly request everyone entering the office to maintain a calm and respectful presence. As it is a shared space, it is essential to avoid disrupting other therapists and their clients. If the noise level becomes excessive, we may request you to step outside or leave until it is manageable.

We understand that life comes with various circumstances, and there may be times when you need assistance or have someone accompany you to your appointment. If that is the case, we ask that they wait quietly in the lobby.

For treatments involving minors, a parent or guardian must accompany them.

    Regarding children:

For massage treatments, we ask that you do not bring children, as the waiting area is not be suitable for them during the duration of the appointment.

For myopractic treatments, while the session may be more effective without the distraction of children, we acknowledge that circumstances vary. If children accompany you, we kindly request that they can sit quietly for the duration of your appointment, ensuring a peaceful environment for other therapists and clients in the building."

  • I do not currently have a system in place for doing home visits. However, if that is something you are interested in, please let me know. I would be happy to look into it given special interest. I will check my availability and give you a quote for travel/home visits. Please note that the pricing will not be the same as the services in my office. Traveling for home visits does require a different set of resources and time, which will be accounted for in any quote that I give for services outside of my standard offering.

  • If you have any questions about my professional practice or the techniques I use, please contact me. I want everyone to feel comfortable when they come in for a treatment. I will do my best to give you the treatment that you need. That being said, sometimes you won’t know if it is the right fit until you try it. It may take more than one session to know if my treatments are the right fit for your body Additionally, the more you communicate with me the more I am able to understand how your body is feeling and what it may need. If you have any concerns or questions after your appointment, please communicate that with me. I would like the opportunity to understand your perspective and change if I can to offer better holistic services for you and your family.

  • After your appointment , it is important to keep taking care of yourself to see the best results from the treatment.

These are some of thee things that I like to do after I receive a treatment:

    1. Stay hydrated. Extra hydrated.

    2. Be aware of how you are moving your body

    3. Stretch and do exercises that aid my focus areas.

  • We frequently offer discounts to make our services more accessible. If there's an automatic discount, you'll find it reflected in the price on our scheduling app. You can view the original pricing in the 'Services' menu on our website.

From time to time, I may introduce additional discounts. However, please be aware that there might be periods when no current discounts are available. Rest assured, my goal is to provide you with affordable pricing while ensuring the necessary funds to sustain Body in Mind for many years. Your support is instrumental in maintaining the longevity of our services.

  • I offer myopractic and massage services to minors. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/ legal guardian in order to receive treatment.
